Last week was our transportation unit. One of our favorite activities is running small cars through paint and rolling them down a rain gutter.
We put strips of paper on parts of the gutter to pick up the tracks.
Make sure to have a tray at the bottom to collect the wet cars!
This is fun for both 2 and 3 year olds.

I love this! I wish we had some open gutters around the house - but I'll come up with something else! Great idea to take outside (or inside like this).

ReplyDeleteA note on raingutters - I purchased one at Hope Depot over 10 years ago. My husband sawed it in half. They have taken so much abuse, inside and out, and are still in perfect condition! A bit scratched, but that's it! I highly recommend it. In fact, I'm thinking of buying another and sawing them into 4 shorter ramps.
