Circles from Tubes

I have not been a good blogger lately. All of my energy has been placed on my classes and my family. Tis the back-to-school season! But tomorrow we start week 4, and I am finally feeling like things are falling into place. We are continuing to have some tears in the 2's class, but each day gets a bit better.

I like to keep our projects and activities on the simple side the first few weeks as we learn the routine and get to know each other. One of my favorite art projects last week was taking tubes and dipping them into paint. Nope, it's not my idea. I've seen it on many blogs. But it's my first time trying it. And the 3's loved it! I put two different primary colors in each tray so it was also a color mixing experience. Turns out my 2's enjoyed it, too! A keeper for sure.

Now that I'm feeling more settled, I will be better about blogging! I've missed it!
