You know those holiday tins you get and wonder how you could put them to good use? How about putting handles on them and using them as large stamps?
Yep, just like that. Take a block for the handle and screw it into the center of the container or lid.
Great for 3's, but the 2's love it even more. Easy to grasp!
We use a large cookie sheet.
The added benefit is the sound when it hits the paper.
What really cool is that today was the first time this little guy wanted to paint. He doesn't like to get his hands in paint, and I think the handles made him feel more secure. Either that, or he liked that bam! noise when he stamped it onto the paper. Or both.
We are always looking for ways to provide projects that are easy on the budget, plus using materials that might have otherwise just been thrown out. I'm thinking this would make cute wrapping paper!
