Our final camp for the summer is Wet and Wild Water Camp. Of course, a car wash is involved.
We set up one tray with small cars and shaving cream and another tray with water. The third tray had small towels to place the cars on.
The delight of putting your hands in the shaving cream and then rinsing them in water, and repeating over and over, was quite soothing for many of the preschoolers. And all our toy cars got cleaned in the process! Hmm....maybe tomorrow we will try this with some of our other toys!

ReplyDeleteMy son would love this!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! We did a unit on farming and we drove our toy tractors through brown paint 'mud'. Then the kids drove the muddy wheels over paper to make neat tracks. Next time it would be fun to then clean them off using your car wash idea. Thanks.
